TAK BITE CLIPS come pre-mounted in open walled adjustable frames that allow for free and unrestricted material flow to prevent set under compression. Following the set, the frame is partially buried within the impression material to prevent separation during removal from the mouth. Fast, clean, easy and forgivable. Thermalastic may be re-softened repeatedly. Thermalastic is TAK's trade name for TriPolyVinylene, an exciting new elastomer that is sure to find many useful applications in the dental office. It softens to a paste in moderately hot water or simply with a hair dryer. Turns clear when its ready. Sets fast to an extra firm elastomer and trims sharp, clean and easily with a Bard-Parker type blade.
Having just the right combination of firmness and flexibility, it allows for an accurate, full contact occlusal bite while later allowing the expanded stone model to fully seat for articulation by the laboratory. Look forward to greater accuracy with your finished restorations.
